With coach Chris Doxsey at the helm, Campbeltown Junior Rugby Club hosted the next round of the Dalriada rugby summer series last Saturday.
Unfortunately, due to ferry issues, travelling touring teams and drama festivals, only Mid Argyll and Oban were able to make it to Meadows Playing Fields for the event.
Despite only three teams in attendance, the hosts delivered a well-organised Dalriada tournament, ensuring that every young rugby player was challenged and had fun.
Oban were in great form, winning three of their games and finishing top of the table with Mid Argyll in second spot and Campbeltown/Kintyre in third.
With some impressive tries scored on the day, it proved to be a fantastic day of rugby in Campbeltown.
The next Dalriada in the series will take place on Sunday May 12 at Taynuilt Sports Ground where Etive Vikings will be hosting.
