Help available for hostels
Support package is aimed at sustaining operators for 2021 season.
‘The Argyll and the Isles have always been top of the visitor destination list and Covid-19 will not change that.’
Held virtually and running between November 16-20, it has been organised by national tourism body VisitScotland in partnership with Wild Scotland and Sail Scotland.
Argyll and Bute’s position on the 234-mile east coast to west coast ‘Caledonia Way’ also puts in the heartland of the highly scenic long-distance route linking Campbeltown, Oban, Fort William and Inverness.
‘This funding is the result of close collaboration with the sector to work out exactly what challenges they face and tailor our support to help them as best we can.’
‘YCW2020 is an excellent opportunity for Campbeltown and the rest of Kintyre to showcase its fantastic offering and bring in visitors.’
