Santa’s visit came the day after a Christmas tree was erected at the entrance of the village.
Last weekend, he visited children in Tayinloan and he is set to make an appearance in Glenbarr this weekend.
‘It was wonderful to see so many people out on the street. Everyone needed a bit of cheer and a bit of magic!’
Many of the group had enjoyed a dance or two, with accordionist Alec MacKinnon providing the soundtrack.
Among those who met the big man himself during his visit to Campbeltown Town Hall were Catriona McLean and her daughter Eve and her niece Hollie, photographed here.
Santa paid a visit to the Victoria Hall to see the children from the Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association.
‘My pesky reindeer must have been nosing about in this sack of presents and dropped a carrot!’ he said.
Santa’s sleigh descended on Dunaverty Hall last Saturday so the big man could say hello to all the boys and girls who had popped in to meet him.
