Campbeltown has paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kintyre military men and women who served in both world wars as well as more recent conflicts
Poppy Appeal fundraising efforts also took place alongside the simple but moving acts of remembrance
The people of Kintyre fell silent to remember the area’s military heroes who fought and died for their country.

A parade led by a pipe band and including members of the Campbeltown branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland will march to the war memorial before the two minute silence at 11am.
