Kintyre swimmers make a splash at National finals

Over the two days, six Kintyre swimmers represented the club at district level, the highest number from the club ever.

The popular race is typically run beside the Crinan Canal but it was held virtually this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic

More than 100 athletes competed in the event, now in its fifth year.
Teams of four competed in long jump, shot putt, 60m sprint and 4 x 200m relay events.
South Kintyre Harriers, formerly Campbeltown Junior Running Club, presented Erin Ralston with the cup for victory in its Cross Country Series.
