The group meet every second Wednesday of the month in the Kirk Street Hall.
The two course meal, with a festive flavour, included soup and a roll followed by unlimited tea or coffee and a mince pie.
The Kintyre committee of Cancer Research UK sold tiny, knitted Christmas puddings in which Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls can be hidden.

The event was very well attended with the baking and tombola stalls clearing out within the first hour and innumerable raffle items on offer.
