A grant through the Business Gateway Local Growth Accelerator Programme has allowed Wreckspeditions to increase the services it offers.
The council will contact the additional 27 businesses directly to arrange for them to receive the funding award.
The additional funding includes ongoing support for the vaccination programme, the test and protect system and personal protective equipment
The funding will support an initiative providing opportunities for young people to get involved with local museums and heritage venues.

This project will improve the energy efficiency of 130 homes across Argyll and Bute, including on 11 islands.
Since it became a charity in 1978, the Trust has given out large amounts of money for the benefit of people living in the area and it is still looking to help more community groups and individuals aspire to their dreams.
The funding is focused on the environment, community, climate change and economic development
