‘This new expansion will help us fulfill another objective which is to increase our workforce and become a major employer in an area where opportunities are often scarce.’
As well as Kintyre’s Beinn an Tuirc Distillers and Wm Cadenhead Ltd, producers travelled from across Scotland to attend the tasting session.
Top prizes including a voucher for Portavadie Spa helped Carradale primary parents raise £1030 at a bingo night.
17 wild swimmers took part, ranging in age from seven to 84.
