EKCC is concerned it is no more than ‘a cost-saving exercise being packaged as strategic leadership improvement’
‘Our vision is that any future developments must be done in a sympathetic and collaborative way, in full consultation with the community.’
Particular concerns were raised about ‘passing place’ signs on the area’s single-track roads which are grubby and corroded.
‘We really cannot justify putting additional resources into that post.’
The problems due to blocked drains continues in East Kintyre.
Carradale path will be a safe, convenient, and user-friendly route from the village hall to the western limit of the main village – all the things it should be, and all the things the existing path is not.
