It was an afternoon the audience was sure to remember as they left the impressively decorated hall humming the catchy tunes which were stuck in their heads.
The young actors impressed an audience of their friends, family, fellow students and teachers as they told the story of Jesus’s birth.
There was mix of costumes from witches, skeletons and ghosts to superheroes.
Pupils from the schools P2, P3 and P4 classes organised and ran the fundraiser.
The youngsters will now represent Campbeltown at the West of Scotland heats at Pollockshaws Burgh Hall, Glasgow, on May 21.
When Margaret died, aged seven, 13 men came forward to become king – cue 13 children stepping forward on the flag-adorned school stage.
Each class took time within the day to meet in the school hall and talk about the value of reading and discuss their favourite characters.
