All classes of store lambs in general were sharper on the week.
A bullock from a consignment of 81 calves from Ardtalla Estate topped the sale.

Lambs were again short of buyers’ requirements, and more could have been sold to sellers’ advantage.
The overall average for 1,573 hoggets sold was 273.12ppkg (+41.24p on the week and +106p on the year).

All classes of store hoggets were sharper on the week, selling to £91 for a pen of Tex X from W Cook, Balcachie, Girvan.
Prime cattle of all classes upheld the prices achieved throughout December.
