Onwards and upwards for Seasports

This year is an exciting one for Kintyre Seasports which has added another string to its bow after achieving Royal Yachting Association-recognised training centre certification.

As well as allowing the group to expand its offerings and self-sufficiency, this is expected to bring hundreds more visitors to Campbeltown, bringing a welcome boost to many other businesses and sectors.

Well done to all involved in Kintyre Seasports’ increasingly exciting journey.

Poignant remembrance

It was touching to see the memories of those named on Glenbarr War Memorial being honoured at its rededication service more than 100 years after they paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Good luck to senior students

We hope all senior students receiving exam results next week get the outcome they are hoping for.

There are many different career options in life and many do not depend on having attained specific exam results.

But anyone with any concerns or queries should take advantage of the opportunity to speak to Campbeltown Grammar School’s senior management team on Wednesday.
