Gents’ McDiarmid Cup match play: The final of the McDiarmid Cup was contested by James Lafferty and David Rankin in rather windy conditions, with James winning the game three and two with a fantastic hole-in-one at the 15th hole and, following that, with an excellent birdie two at the 16th to close out the match.
