The 2022 Mull of Kintyre Music Festival (MOKFest) Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks Concert is set to capture the full festival experience in one concert with performances from three outstanding bands.
Trail West, Elephant Sessions and Rhuvaal are all scheduled to hit the stage at the Saturday August 20 event.
Trail West started out as a four-piece line-up with strong links to the Hebridean Isles of Tiree and South Uist.
The band now perform as a six-piece outfit, selling out in venues and festivals across Scotland and the UK.
They have released four albums, showing the band’s progression, with a wide selection of songs becoming an integral part of their repertoire alongside the recognisable accordion and whistle combination of Seonaidh MacIntyre and Ian Smith.
The band are now celebrating their 11th anniversary and they are delighted to be performing for the first time at MOKFest.
This unique concert, which also features Elephant Sessions and Rhuvaal, can only be described as a full-on west coast festival experience in the Victoria Hall.
Tickets for all this year’s MOKFest concerts, which also feature Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, Fìobha Ceilidh Band, Brian McNeill, Calum Alex MacMillan with Ross Martin and Slainte Davaar Allstars, are available from AP Taylor, Main Street, Campbeltown, or online at www.ticketweb.com.
