Pupils 2007s pick up net gains at awards ceremony

During their recent awards night, all Campbeltown Pupils 2007s players were recognised for their participation over the past two seasons.

The All Round Player Award was given to the person who received the most votes over all the voting categories and, through showing maturity, commitment and sheer dedication in his role as team captain, the honour went to Calum McAllister.

The Coach To Be Award was given to Daniel McEachran for his regular challenges and opinions to coach Rhys Blair.

Every player received an additional medal for playing a successful part in the team which was discussed with them and their parents at one-to-one performance reviews at the end of season.

Coaches Rhys Blair, Robert Todd and Douglas Renton also received participation medals.

A special mention was made to valued bus driver Charles Anderson and to Claire Mitchell for her commitment to the team and club secretary duties throughout the years.

‘Here’s to the 2022/23 season. Onwards and upwards,’ said a club spokesperson.
