A 42-year-old woman was arrested, interviewed and released without charge after being reported for assaulting a man in Drumlemble at about 10.30pm on Wednesday June 1.

Serious assault

Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man allegedly assaulted and seriously injured a 25-year-old man in a premises on Main Street, Port Charlotte, Islay, at about 10.30pm on Sunday May 29.

Breach of peace

At about 11.50pm on Sunday May 29, on Main Street, Port Charlotte, Islay, a 44-year-old man was arrested for alleged breach of the peace, police assault and resisting arrest. He was taken to Bowmore Police Station and held for court.
