This year’s Mull of Kintyre Music Festival (MOKFest) Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks Concert promises a night of fantastic music with three outstanding bands lined up to perform.
Elephant Sessions, who close the Saturday August 20 concert, exploded onto the indie-folk scene and have since appeared at some of the world’s most notable venues, as well as festivals across the UK, USA, Europe and Australia, with audiences crowd surfing their way through the summer and marquee floors breaking under the weight of bouncing fans.
Having won the 2017 BBC Scots Trad Awards Album of The Year and 2018 BBC Scots Trad Live Act of the Year, they celebrate their 10th anniversary this year.
Following their recent sold-out winter tour, Elephant Sessions are back with a brand-new album and can’t wait to bring their unique brand of indie to this year’s MOKFest.
With ceilidh bands Trail West and Rhuvaal also performing, revellers can expect a full-on west coast festival experience in the Victoria Hall.
Tickets for this all year’s MOKFest concerts, which also feature Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, Fìobha Ceilidh Band, Brian McNeill, Calum Alex MacMillan with Ross Martin and Slainte Davaar Allstars, are available from AP Taylor, Main Street, Campbeltown, or online at www.ticketweb.com.
