Staff assaulted

Police are investigating after a woman allegedly behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting and swearing at staff in the Co-op supermarket, Longrow, Campbeltown, at 1.09pm on Sunday May 8, before assaulting one of them.

Abusive behaviour

A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged after allegedly behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting and swearing on a footpath near Bielding View, Tarbert, at about 11.30pm on Monday May 9.

Drugs possession

At about 6.45pm on Wednesday May 11, on the A83 near Tayinloan, two men, aged 22 and 23, were allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of controlled drugs within a vehicle. One man was charged with the offence and issued with a recorded police warning and the other will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
