Vehicle damaged

A red Vauxhall Astra car parked on Dalaruan Street, Campbeltown, was allegedly damaged between 8.30pm and 9.10pm on Friday March 25.

Lock vandalised

A communal close lock at Burnside Street, Campbeltown, was allegedly damaged between noon on Thursday March 24 and 11am on Sunday March 27.

Cash stolen

A wallet containing cash was stolen from a man at Tesco, Lochend Street, Campbeltown, at 11.15am on Wednesday March 30. A 63-year-old woman was identified as being responsible and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Threatening behaviour

A woman was crossing the street on Campbeltown Road, Tarbert, at 1pm on Thursday March 31 when another woman allegedly began pointing at her and shouting at her in a foreign language, causing her to feel threatened and scared.

Man ran off

A 20-year-old man was traced and charged after he was detained by police for a drugs search at midnight on Saturday April 2, in Burnside Square, Campbeltown, but he allegedly broke free before handcuffs were applied and ran off.

Drink driving

A man suspected of being under the influence of alcohol was allegedly seen driving a vehicle at Croftpark, Tarbert, at 1.16am on Sunday April 3. When traced by police, the 40-year-old driver failed the roadside breath test and was arrested. He was charged with the offence and released on a police undertaking.
