Festival fans are advised to be quick to avoid missing out as tickets for this year’s Mull of Kintyre Music Festival go on sale this month.
Tickets for the August 17 -21 festival’s various events will be available online from 7pm on April 7 and from AP Taylor on Campbeltown’s Main Street from 10am on April 8.
This year’s headline acts include Elephant Sessions, Trail West, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, Fìobha Ceilidh Band, Brian McNeill and Calum Alex MacMillan with Ross Martin.
There will be much more information on all the concerts and a full line-up for each event in next week’s Campbeltown Courier and Argyllshire Advertiser.
Organisers have also announced that the festival parade will return this year, with a slightly different format; the parade will finish at the Well Close where Kintyre Schools Pipe Band will open Up the Close, the Saturday afternoon open air event.
This year’s festival will also launch a new event which is being organised by Kintyre Sea Sports from 10am to 12.30pm on the Saturday – more news on this will follow soon.
The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival website – www.mokfest.com – will be updated to include all the events and concerts when the tickets go on sale.
