Young footballers from Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association (CDJFA) were delighted when Santa paid them a visit before Christmas.

The girls’ section enjoyed a fun-filled night at their last session of 2021, on December 17, after which Santa stopped off to present the players and coaches with selection boxes.

The man in red returned on December 19, to deliver medals and chocolate treats to help rejuvenate 10 teams from the 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012 age groups after they tired themselves out playing four-, five- and seven-a-side matches.

‘Thank you to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to hand out the players’ and coaches’ selection boxes,’ said a CDJFA spokesperson.
