Threatening or Abusive Behaviour

Police responded to a report of a male causing a disturbance at an address in Albyn Avenue, Campbeltown, between 3am and 4.15am on Friday, December 3. A man, aged 29, was arrested and charged with the offence. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Vandalism

Between 2.45pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday, November 30 at Longrow, Campbeltown, it is alleged that the wing mirror of a parked car was vandalised. Enquiries continue.

Threatening or Abusive Behaviour/Police Assault/Resist Arrest/Drugs

Police responded to a report of a man allegedly causing a disturbance at 7.15pm on Tuesday, December 6 within premises in Tarbert. A 43-year-old man was identified. The man thereafter continued to act in a threatening manner, before resisting arrest and assaulting police officers. He was also found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine. He was arrested and charged with the offences. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Vandalism

Damage was caused to five outdoor chalk boards and a wooden assault course within the playground at Carradale Primary School, Cambeltown between Tuesday, November 23 and Thursday November 25. Enquiries continue and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

No Insurance

Routine checks on a motor vehicle at Kilkerran Road, Campbeltown on Wednesday, December 8 revealed it did not have a valid policy of insurance in place. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, a 50-year-old man was charged with the offence. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Threatening or Abusive Behaviour

Police responded to a report of four males acting in a threatening and abusive manner towards members of the public at Cross Street, Campbeltown on Friday, December 3 at 11.30pm. The men, aged, 23, 34, 39 and 36  were issued recorded police warnings.
