Vehicle theft

Police are investigating after a vehicle was reported as stolen from a driveway in Bridgend, Islay, on Tuesday November 16.

Drug possession

An 18-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning after he was found in possession of herbal cannabis when he was searched by police at 8pm on Friday November 26 in Argyll Street, Campbeltown.

Woman assaulted

A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with assaulting a woman at an address in Castleacres, Campbeltown, at 1am on Monday November 29.

Drug possession

A 25-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning after he was found in possession of herbal cannabis when the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on the A83 at Tarbert, at 5pm on Tuesday November 30.

Speeding driver

A 30-year-old man was charged after police allegedly saw the vehicle he was driving exceeding the speed limit on the A83, at Tarbert, at 6.30pm on Wednesday December 1.

Chalk cube stolen

A 49-year-old man was issued with recorded police warning after stealing a snooker chalk cube from the Commercial Inn, Cross Street, Campbeltown, at 11pm on Thursday December 2.
