More than 30 businesses have gone the extra yard this week ahead of Campbeltown Pupils Football Club’s Christmas prize draw being held on Sunday.
Everyone from distilleries and supermarkets to independent shops have donated prizes towards the competition, from festive gift hampers to a £100 cash prize donation from Co-op Campbeltown.
Entries, priced at £5, are being taken on the Facebook group Campbeltown Pupils – Christmas Prize Draw or by contacting Stuart Crossan or Mandy Robertson.
The draw takes place on Sunday at 4.30pm at Argyll Bowling Club.
A Pupils spokesperson said: ‘The club would like to thank Mandy Robertson for all her hard work in organising the prize draw and securing such a range of prizes.
‘We would also like to thank all businesses which have generously donated prizes.
‘Funds raised for the club will go in part to help meet travel costs ahead of our important cup game against Pollok Football Club tomorrow (Saturday) as the squad is taking a larger bus to the game.’
