The Salvation Army is bringing some festive cheer to shoppers on Campbeltown’s Main Street this month as volunteers play a selection of Christmas carols.

Major Ruth Russell, her husband Ben and their children Avery and Jonathan are taking to the street on Saturdays armed with brass and woodwind instruments and New Christmas Praise carol books to serenade passersby.

Money raised through collection buckets will help to fund the charity’s work.
