Disturbance

At 1.30am on Sunday, October 31 Campbeltown police responded to a report of an ongoing disturbance at an address in Longrow. Two women, one aged 30 and the other 34, were issued recorded police warnings.

Threatening or Abusive Behaviour

A car was damaged while two men were fighting at Lochend Street, Cambeltown on Sunday, October 31 at 1am. The men were aged 48 and 29. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Threatening or Abusive Behaviour or Assault

At 9pm on Thursday, November 4 police responded to a report of  a woman allegedly causing a disturbance at an address in Davaar Avenue, Campbeltown. Police attended the address and a 35-year-old woman was identified.  The woman reportedly resisted arrest and assaulted a police officer.  She was kept in police custody to appear at Campbeltown Sheriff Court.

Assault/Vandalism

At 12pm on Sunday, October 31 at an address in Frederick Crescent,  Port Ellen, Islay police responded to a report of  a man allegedly having assaulted people and vandalised property. Police attended and a 42-year-old man was identified. He was arrested, charged and kept in custody to appear at Oban Sheriff Court.
