Kevin Dunn had a close encounter with a feathered friend when he, his wife and their children visited Saddell Abbey last weekend.
‘We were looking at the standing stones when a wee treecreeper flew in under the roof, saw us, panicked and turned left straight into a wall and knocked himself out for a wee minute,’ Kevin said.
‘We picked him up and checked him over and kept him safe until he was right as rain again.
‘We managed to get some beautiful pictures of the little fellow. The birds are very well camouflaged in the trees so can be a rare find to see close up.’
