After Sunday’s league game, Campbeltown Pupils Youth 2005s collected new personalised club rucksacks and holdalls.

The purchase of the holdalls was possible thanks to a donation to the under 17s team from Wylie Hume.

‘Everyone involved at the 2005s would like to say a massive thanks to Wylie for his kind donation,’ said David Paterson, team manager.

‘As many will know, Wylie himself was heavily involved in the local children’s football association in the 1980s and 1990s and wished to show support to our efforts.

‘Along with a small payment from parents, rucksacks were also purchased with Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association’s help – as is the case for all age groups in the association.

‘Thanks from all involved at the 2005s.’
