Do you know a 16- to 24-year-old not in work or studies?

Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface is undertaking the volunteering element of the Young Person’s Guarantee, an initiative aiming to connect every 16- to 24-year-old in Scotland to the opportunity of a job, apprenticeship, further or higher education, training programme or volunteering.

The TSI will enable 60 young people identified by set criteria to self-refer or be referred by a third party to partake in a six-month volunteering placement in some of Argyll and Bute’s best known charities.

Each young person will be fully supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the placement. This could be a great stepping stone towards study or work.

Young People will receive £30 per week, all travel expenses and a Saltire Award recognising their achievements on completion of the placement.
