Campbeltown Medical Practice is holding a further flu clinic on Friday October 15.
Unlike last Saturday’s clinic, this is by appointment only which can be arranged by calling the surgery on 01586 552105.
It is for those aged 50 and over, or under 50 with a chronic health condition, who are registered with Campbeltown Medical Practice.
People with a history of the following conditions are advised to have the flu vaccine: asplenia, asthma, bronchitis, a BMI of 40 or more, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic heart disease, chronic kidney failure, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, emphysema, HIV infection, liver problems, multiple sclerosis, undergoing chemotherapy.
Those attending must wear a face covering and keep a two-metre distance from others.
Patients are being asked to note that this is a clinic for the flu vaccine only; Covid vaccine boosters will begin at a later date.
