Kintyre residents are being invited by liveArgyll to support Macmillan Cancer Support by joining in with the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
To mark the annual fundraiser, the leisure charity is offering free sessions and events today, Friday September 24, in exchange for donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.
liveArgyll works in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to deliver Move More across Argyll and Bute.
Move More Scotland is part of the cancer support charity’s national campaign to support people living with and beyond cancer to find an activity that is right for them.
The programme aims to ensure that people living with cancer are supported to become physically active, both before, during and after treatment. Find out more at liveargyll.co.uk/argyll-active
Events will be running throughout the morning across the different liveArgyll facilities.
In Campbeltown, from 10am to 11am, it’s play time at Aqualibrium swimming pool – the pool floor will be raised so customers can enjoy a toy play hour; from 11am to 11.30am, get a fitness fix at a core fitness class, held at Victoria Hall; from 11am to 12.15pm, soft play fun at Kintyre Community Centre; and from 11.30am to 12.30pm, time for a brew at Campbeltown Library – join staff for tea and biscuits.
