Motorists travelling on the A83 near Tayinloan should be aware of a series of planned overnight road closures, beginning next week, to enable improvements to be carried out safely.
From Sunday September 26, for approximately five nights, essential carriageway patching works will be carried out on the A83 between Balure and Tayinloan.
Due to the restrictive carriageway widths, it has been deemed necessary to close the road between 8pm and 5am each night to ensure the safety of the workforce and travelling members of the public.
Amnesty periods will be provided at the following times: 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 2am and 4am. Motorists are encouraged to arrive prior to these times to ensure they are accommodated within the amnesty period.
Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
