A 45-year-old man must spend six months on a community pay-back order with social workers after a domestic incident.

The man, who cannot be named as it would identify the woman involved, pleaded guilty to pushing her on the body, causing her to fall, at their home in the Mid Argyll area on April 8 this year.

After calling for reports at a previous hearing, Sheriff Patrick Hughes issued the community pay-back order at Campbeltown Sheriff Court last week.
