Dangerous driving

At about 11.38am on Saturday July 24 police on patrol observed a lorry overtaking another vehicle on the A83, near Clachan. The driver, a 60-year-old man, was charged with dangerous driving and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

Police were called to a report of a female causing a disturbance at an address in Albyn Avenue, Campbeltown, at about 6.30pm on Friday July 23.

When officers attended, a 50-year-old woman was arrested for abusive behaviour. She was subsequently charged with the offence and issued with a fixed penalty notice.
