Machrihanish community have pulled together once again to tidy up the field behind the village hall so that it can be hired out for football, games and parties.

Residents Ian Russell and Robert Millar kicked off the work by carrying out the initial groundwork while Helen Gilchrist has donated the goal posts.

The Co-op has also donated items while Craig Barr and golf club captain Kevin Gilchrist have taken responsibility for drawing the lines, putting out flags and cutting the grass.
