Failing to report an accident

About 11.40am on Tuesday July 6 at Campbeltown Hospital a vehicle reportedly reversed into another car, damaged it and then drove off. Officers have identified the vehicle involved and enquires are ongoing.

Vandalism

About 01.10am on Saturday July 10 at Tesco, Lochend Street, Campbeltown, someone damaged an advertising banner. Enquiries are ongoing.

Assault

About 11pm on Saturday July 10 at Burnside Square, Campbeltown a report was made to police of one female had assaulting another female. A woman (22 yrs) has been charged with assault and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Careless driving

About 7.15pm on Friday, July 9 on the A83 near Campbeltown a Red Peugeot was
reported by members of the public as being driven in a careless manner. The matter was reported to police, with the vehicle identified. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.

Car damaged

About 3pm on Saturday, July 10 at Point Sand Caravan Park, near Tarbert, a silver Fiat Ducato Campervan reportedly reversed into another car, damaging it, before driving off without reporting the damage. The matter was reported to police, with the vehicle identified. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.
