A teenage Clachan singer, who goes by the stage name Iona Sky, is proving to be a rising star as she prepares to release her debut single.

Eilidh Norris, aged 15, has teamed up with 16-year-old multi-instrumentalist and producer Brandyn Kilpatrick from Glasgow to create the pop-punk song Dallas which will be released next week.

The song by the duo, known collectively as ANAVRIN, will available on all the usual digital platforms from Friday July 16.

There will also be a chance to hear it on Callum George’s Argyll FM show on Saturday July 17 between 9pm and 10pm.

The single has been picked up by other local radio stations in Scotland and ANAVRIN hope to finish putting a band together to tour in the near future.

The teen musicians have been working hard in the studio on other original material and are looking forward to getting out and playing live as soon as they can.
