Careless driving

A 54-year-old man was charged with alleged careless driving after a collision between two motorcycles on the A83 near Tayinloan at about 11.30am on Tuesday May 25. Both riders were injured as a result of the collision.

Illegal tyres

A 55-year-0ld female motorist was charged after being stopped for exceeding the speed limit on the A83 near Campbeltown at about 5.35pm on Wednesday May 26. The car  also reportedly had two tyres with tread depth below the legal limit.

Lights vandalised

Police are investigating after several solar-powered lights were damaged and pulled off a wall at Rhudal Cottages, Drumlemble, between about March 24 and May 24.

Man assaulted

A 49-year-old man was traced and charged with assaulting another man in Longrow, Campbeltown, at about 5.30pm on Friday May 28.

Offensive weapon

A 38-year-old man was traced and charged with behaved in an abusive manner on the Isle of Gigha, at about 1.30pm on Saturday May 29, smashing some windows using a hammer.
