After last Sunday’s service at Saddell and Carradale Church, Reverend Steve Fulcher presented William J Semple, better known in the community as Wum, with a certificate to honour nearly 50 years of eldership.

Thirty of these years were as session clerk, which is much appreciated by the congregation.

Wum, although retired, will continue to support the church in whichever way he can.
