Campbeltown Medical Practice has issued a statement to patients awaiting Covid-19 jabs as the area’s vaccination programme continues.

The practice said patients aged 40 to 49 years should this week have received invitations to its vaccination clinic being held today, Friday May 14.

It added that adults living in the same household as shielding patients should have received a letter from the Scottish Government and are encouraged to arrange an appointment, if they have not done so already.

A spokesperson said: ‘Once again, we thank you for your continued patience as we work our way through our lists. Under 40s, roll up your sleeves – we’ll be in touch soon.’
