At the start of the pandemic in March we took the decision to make online access to our news free of charge by taking down our paywall. At a time where accurate information about Covid-19 was vital to our community, this was the right decision – even though it meant a drop in our income. As the festive season draws to a close, we take a look at some of the Christmas fun that Kintyre’s children enjoyed in the run-up to their winter break from school.

From crafting Christmas creations like decorated logs, stained glass windows and personalised greetings cards, to jumper days, parties and Santa visits, there was plenty to get the youngsters into the festive spirit.
