Speeding drivers

A 35-year-old female driver was stopped for allegedly exceeding the speed limit on the A83 at Bellochantuy at about 9.20am on Wednesday September 23. Two days later, on Friday September 25, two further drivers were stopped on the A83 near Bellochantuy for allegedly exceeding the speed limit – a 29-year-old woman at 4pm, and a 37-year-old man at about 8.30pm. All three drivers were charged and reports will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Theft from car

Police are investigating after a red Land Rover Discovery parked at Glen Scotia Distillery, High Street, Campbeltown, was broken into and money was stolen sometime between 8.30am and 11am on Saturday September 26.

Vehicle damaged

Police are investigating after the passenger door of a Citroen C3 car at Snipefield Industrial Estate, Campbeltown, was damaged between 2pm and 8pm on Friday September 25.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the above or any incident to phone 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
