Phone box damaged

A pane of glass on the public telephone box at the junction of Hillside Road and Millknowe Road, Campbeltown, was smashed between 9am on Friday September 4 and 10am on Sunday September 6.

Speeding motorist

A 37-year-old man has been charged after he was stopped for allegedly exceeding the speed limit on the A83, near Glenbarr, at about 10.50am on Friday September 11.

Drugs possession

A 21-year-old man was cautioned and charged after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a small quantity of cocaine when he was searched by police at about 1.30am on Sunday September 13 at Millknowe, Campbeltown.

Vehicle damaged

Police are appealing for witnesses after the passenger door of a white BMW 116 car was dented and scratched between 7pm on Thursday September 10 and 8.45am on Friday September 11, in Church Way, Port Ellen, Islay.

Bicycle stolen

Police are appealing for witnesses after a yellow folding bicycle was stolen from beside a field at Ardnave Road, Gruinart, Islay, at about 11.30am on Friday September 11.
