A bit of a damp day for Tarbert Golf Club’s midweek Stableford on Wednesday July 15 saw Bruce McLean take the honours with 38 points.

He edged out James Smyth by virtue of the better inward half. In third place was Sheena Ferguson on 37 points.

The ladies returned to action last Sunday with Sheena Ferguson taking first place by virtue of the better inward half over Georgie Dickson, both ladies having finished on nett 64. Third place went to Angela Vernel on 70.

The gents have a week off this Saturday but return to action on August 1 for the Fisherman’s Cup.

Members are asked to pick their own partner for this greensome event. The following weekend will be the August medal, following a change to the golfing calendar.
