Abusive behaviour

A 54-year-old man allegedly behaved in an abusive manner at about 4pm on Friday July 3 at the Co-op supermarket on Longrow, Campbeltown. Police arrested and charged the man and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Mobile phone

Police stopped a car on the A83 at Millknowe, Campbeltown, at about 7.30pm on Friday July 3, as the driver, a 19-year-old woman, was allegedly driving while using a mobile phone. She was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

A 32-year-old woman behaved in an abusive manner at about 8am on Tuesday June 30, at Millknowe, Campbeltown. She was charged and issued with a recorded police warning.

Driving dangerously

A motorist was stopped on the A83 near Clachan at about 10.30pm on Sunday July 5 for allegedly exceeding the speed limit, driving dangerously and with a worn tyre. The driver, a 40-year-old man, was charged and a report submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

A 20-year-old woman behaved in an abusive manner at about 9.30pm on Tuesday June 30, at Charlotte Street, Port Ellen, Islay. The woman was charged and issued with a recorded police warning.
