Supporters of the Kintyre Way and Core MMA Campbeltown have until July 16 to help the groups win a cash boost.

Both organisations have applied to the Calor Rural Community Fund and are appealing to the public for support to help them hit their points targets.

Applicants are listed on the fund’s website and are encouraged to share their projects as much as possible to gain points and donations. The projects with the highest number of points in each funding category will become shortlisted finalists and will be reviewed by Calor’s committee before being announced as finalists.

The Kintyre Way is in the £2,500 funding category, while Core MMA Campbeltown is in the £5,000 category, so the groups are not in competition with each other.
