Van damaged

Police are investigating after the wheel arch of a white Ford Transit van was damaged on Main Street, Campbeltown, between noon on Friday June 12 and 5pm on Tuesday 23rd June.

Offensive weapon charge

A 50-year-old man was arrested at about 1am on Wednesday June 24 following a report of a disturbance at Kirk Street, Campbeltown. He was later charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Threatening behaviour

A 34-year-old man allegedly behaved in a threatening manner at about 5.30pm on Tuesday June 23 at Smith Drive, Campbeltown, and thereafter posted threats on social media. The man was subsequently arrested and charged with offences under the Communications Act. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Arrested

At about 1pm on Thursday June 25, at Hazelburn Business Park, Campbeltown, a 60-year-old man allegedly behaved in an abusive manner whilst being in breach of his bail conditions. The man was arrested and charged, and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Vehicle vandalised

A 49-year-old woman allegedly behaved in a threatening manner and damaged a vehicle at about noon on Friday June 26, at Pensioners Row, Campbeltown. She was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
