Drugs offences

Police searched a house in George Street, Campbeltown, at about 9.45pm on Monday May 11 and subsequently, a 27-year-old man was charged with alleged offences in relation to the production of cannabis plants and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Livestock offence

A 65-year-old woman allegedly allowed a dog to be outwith her control thereby chasing a sheep into water, at about 7.30am on Friday May 15, on a footpath near Carradale. The woman, who is the owner of the dogs, was charged with the offence and issued with a recorded police warning.


About 5am on Friday May 15, in Tormhor, Carradale, a 65-year-old man allegedly behaved in an abusive manner. He was cautioned and charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
