Police are investigating after a strap securing a gate at Carradale Golf Club was cut and damaged between 8am and 3pm on Sunday April 26.

Breath sample

A 73-year-old man was arrested for allegedly failing to provide a breath specimen at the roadside near Machrihanish at about 6.20pm on Wednesday April 29 and at the police station. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

A 49-year-old woman was arrested at about 8.20pm on Saturday May 2, in Burnbank Street, Campbeltown, for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner.

At the same incident, a 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner, struggling with police and resisting arrest.

Both were charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Sheep attacked

A dog allegedly attacked and chased sheep in a field near the Tayinloan telephone exchange at High Dunashery Farm between 5pm on Saturday May 2 and 2.30pm on Sunday May 3, resulting in one lamb being killed and another being bitten and injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the above or any incident to phone 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
