Speeding allegation

A motorist was stopped for allegedly exceeding the speed limit on the A83 near Glenbarr last Wednesday afternoon. The driver, a man aged 35, was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.


Bottles of alcohol were stolen from the Campbeltown branch of Tesco at 8pm last Saturday. Two women were allegedly responsible and police are carrying out enquiries in an effort to identify them.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the above or any incident to phone 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
